"In this world, we are so caught up in our heads, it is easy to lose sight of...what's real"
With a chilling intro into the trailer of the series (season) 3 of Black Mirror gives an escape into a world imagined with sex, drugs, violence and of course technology, with a possibility of turning into a reality.
Last two seasons combined had 6 episodes and one special, an anthology, discrete yet connected with an idea of being close to current reality and showing what it could be like if this happened. First series came out in 2011 and the last one was broadcasted in 2014. Show was the idea of Charlie Brooker, and was produced for British Television, Channel 4.
Earlier episodes of the show predicted world obsessed with reality TV, life in a digital box and very vividly narrated ideas about ways society functions.
With the recently aired promo for Black Mirror Season 3, Netflix seems to be bringing the concept back with even more related content (one of them seems to be keeping up with popularity of an online personality ala Facebook / Instagram likes.)
Black Mirror Season 3 will be available for binge watching on 21st October from Netflix. Giving you six different stories, six different versions of our could be future. Previous two seasons are available on Netflix to stream, and it was premiered on Colors Infinity in India.
Enjoy the trailer and maybe try to reflect a little if possible.
