He is saying that He has Technicolor Box which is ×264 . So he is guessing that humax stb is the ×265 ..

Ahh, thanks for the help bro. At first i didnt understand, now i got what he was asking.

Yes Teufel bro, technicolor HD STB is x264 and Humax HEVC is x265.

Looks like they have ample satellite capacity so, they might not migrate to HEVC as of now. Hence they are still giving technicolor ones.

Very valid point..I shifted from Videocon to Tata sky and I found Tamil channel like sun tv HD , sun music HD clarity very poor compared to Videocon..I already posted it last year too..Not sure what is the reason..

Even sports hd channel , I felt Videocon is better..Hindi HD channels looks awesome..


Zee tam HD , vijay HD clarity is. awesome..

Also noticed , volume on hd tam channels not increasing like SD channels..Any one facing same issue ? Is it because they are on Dolby ?
