Well I did buy this Videocon RF remote with Earphones on-line from (http://www.videocond2h.com/wsc/rf_remote_buy.aspx) for Rs 1990 and and below are a few of the Pics for those who want to check it out. This Remote isn't sold by Retailer's/Distributors so you have to buy it on-line and also pay them in advance as Cash-on-Delivery isn't available.Anyway Engineer did come home (FREE) to sync/pair the remote with my set-top box,but faced some problems regarding the software which is currently powering myset-top box(My set-top box Currently running on Download ID -11) .As I have a set-top box which is HDDIGISTB2222 and it should have a Software (Download ID -21) or Above for this remote to function/work,and the Engineer didn't have it with him, so unfortunately I haven't been able to use this product for now.But as the Engineer has said,he will be back with the current version of the software in a couple of day and hopefully by then I would be able to use the product and give in depth reviews to how actually this product is working and how is the audio quality and battery life and maximum distance it can operate and so on.Any way point been, for people who are interested in buying this remote please do make sure what is the minimum system configuration (Hardware wise) and which is the Software ID that's required for your set-top box to process/stream audio through this remote, as all this might vary depending on what set-top box and which model number you own.If you have any queries regarding the set-top box model HDDIGISTB2222 and Videocon RF remote with earphones I would defiantly try and help you out with any queries , please feel free.

Review:
The remote is quite sturdy and well built in comparison to its earlier predecessor specially the hardness of the buttons have been rectified in this remote. As I have been using this remote with updated software which bears an download ID-21.I have seen remarkable differences which can be made out easily with prospects of the set-top box and how it functions, overhauling of UI has been done, recording feature works quite well, time required in between changing channels have been reduced considerably and even setting reminders for your favourite program have been made easier. Well when I was using download ID-11 software, I wasn't able to browse the scheduler (ie) which program would be running on Star movies HD at 11 PM, Remote Response time was slow and sluggish,Buttons where so hard, that when you change channels it literately makes noise , but after the update it works like butter smooth. Whatever reason all this might have started to work more efficiently, I don't know(be it the software update, or the new user interface, or a new piece of hardware (remote), but it sure feels good compared to what I was getting earlier.
Well I used this product(Videocon radio-frequency remote with earphone) for about five hours straight. And here are a few of the things which I have come acrossed. The remote has an inbuilt lithium-ion polymer battery with capacity of 270 mAh. Before using this remote, I made sure to charge the battery to its fullest(Till the charging indicator turns green). This remote does work with earphone/headphones/earplugs which have 3.5 MM jack.
The earphones which come along with this package are of decent quality, in terms of audio quality. I did try my JBL headphones and it simply was superb, I also tried my earphones which came along with my samsung galaxy s5 they too were awesome in terms of audio quality. The max juice to expect out of this 270 mAh battery depends on, how much volume you are on and for how long.
Considering the battery is fully charged, and you keep yourself in the middle bar (volume), battery would last for upto about six hours. If you go in for bang headphone, which in turn, gives you high bass and treble and superior quality in terms of audio, and you are on full volume don't expect the battery to last more than four hours. Now the charging part. With this package you are only given a USB cable to charge this remote(no adapter to plug in USB cable is provided). I inserted my Samsung Galaxy S5 charger into the remote, and it started charging, so I didn't bother to use the USB cable which came along with the package. Remote needs to be charged with a supply voltage Output DC 2.4 V -3.6V, but then again I didn't have anything handy within those specifications, and one-time I charged it with my S5 charger which has (supply voltage Output DC 5.0 V),and second time i charged the remote with my Power Bank and didn't face any kind of a problem whatsoever, but I advise pepole to go for the adapter to what company says, if you don't want to play the risk game. You can simultaneously insert a charger/power bank in your remote so that remote keeps charging and you can as well as plug in your earphones and listen to it as well.
Now let's talk about using the recording feature and audio through remote working simultaneously at once or not.Yes it dose work simultaneously as shown in the photos. You can put a program for recording, and browse other channels too(Not All channels, but most of them).I wanted to try a portable hard disk(500 gb) in place of pen drive, but then again too much data was in the hard disk and the system demanded a format before using the hard drive and hence i opted for a pen drive. Anyway all in all this is a good product in terms of what all it offers in return. Price for this product is expensive as of now, considering 1990 for a remote. You might as well get a new HD set-top box for the same price. But anyway I wanted peace and calmness and leisure to watch my late-night programs without disturbing others, and hence I went for it. I hope I have given you enough details about the product as to how it operates and what all you can expect out of it. As far as the durability goes, if I face any kind of problem with the remote in a short span period, I'll make you guys aware of the same. Till than if you have any queries or questions please do not hesitate to ask.
