Chandrayaan-2, the country’s second lunar exploration mission, would be launched during 2017, M Annadurai, project director of Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2, said today. Chandrayaan-I, India’s first mission to moon, was launched successfully on October 22, 2008 from Sriharikota.
Annadurai was answering questions from students while taking part in the Salem High School Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
