If it's all happening with dd news then may be they would be planning to change LCN and introduce all DD channels on main screen. I heard that TRAI has made some new changes and it's mandatory to have some 20 channels on LCN.

May be that would be the reason for this exercise. Even airtel did the movement of DD channels because of this mandate.

But now only 2 dd channels in active service... May be some more new dd channels will be coming.. Like airtel
