Popular music channel, CHANNEL V, owned & operated by Star India, is ready to convert into a youth channel again. At the time of launch, Channel V was a popular music channel. But later, due to huge competition, channel was failed to gain higher TRP. As a result, channel converted into a youth channel from music channel.

But almost one year ago, due to low TRP, Channel V was completely transformed into a 24×7 music channel with a fresh new look and new programme line-up again.

But all modification again did not work. So, finally Channel V has been decided to convert it into a youth channel again. Already old popular youth shows are starting to telecast on this channel. Hope, new youth based show will start soon on Channel V.
