Just finished watching this movie. Dark movie. Everything is good apart from two scenes that insult Hindus and their God.

nah. story of a 10 year old kid of Kolkata

And if the story is from Kolkata then disrespecting Hindu Gods is common.

In 1st instance a muzlim buddha tells story to the kid where he says his great grandmother slapped hanuman so tight that he started behaving. This issue was highlighted in social media but some were saying that bengali call langoor as Hanuman also. So, here they took benefit of doubt and insulted Hindu God.

In 2nd instance, a hindu shopkeeper came chanting mantra and kick the kid chippa who is sitting outside his shop.

later, he leaves the pooja and ran after the child accusing him of theft and get him beaten black and blue.

Oh so they hiding behind the tradition. I don't think no one in the planet calls Monkey as Hanuman except Bengalis since they connected monkey with the God itself however if the makers are hiding by the name of tradition then they're the biggest sinner then anyone else.
