CM Punk was recently seen looking as dashing as ever, but this time, it's not inside the ring. Last July 21, Punk was asked to co-host the first Gibson Brands' AP Awards. It was the perfect time to ask the former wrestler about his plans of returning to the WWE.
Recently, when Punk's contract with the WWE expired last week, the WWE moved Punk's profile from Superstars to the Alumni section. This pretty much meant that it was the end of Punk's journey in the WWE. However, Punk's loyal fans remain hopeful that they will still see their favorite wrestler in action.
"Do you think there's ever a chance we'll see you back in a squared circle?" asked the reporter. "No... no," Punk replied. "Never?" the reporter asked again. "No, never ever! Never ever ever! They're going to go crazy about that on Twitter, they're gonna like hold me to it and...yeah whatever," Punk answered.
Meanwhile, the WWE is still unhappy with CM Punk and is planning to take legal action for his breach of contract. Punk walked out back in January despite his contract ending in July. According to Cage Side Seats, Vince McMahon is just holding out on the lawsuit because he is still hoping that the WWE star would still return and fulfill his contract until it expires. Nonetheless, the threat of suing the former WWE champion might still happen, according to reports.
