Colors Colors extends ‘Comedy Nights’ franchise to double comic quotient

Colors is extending the ‘Comedy Nights’ franchise to double the comic quotient on the channel with a new show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’. Exploring more genres of comedy and entertainment, Colors has created a comedy band for viewers on weekends. Launching on 5 September, ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ will air on Saturdays at 10 pm. On Sundays, viewers will continue to get ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ at the same time slot. Building on the genre of ‘insult comedy’, ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ will take jibes at famous and infamous celebrity guests at the hands of actor-comedian jodis through acid-tongued humour.

How cum Kapil agreed to this ??? Till date CNWK was the only comedy show exclusively on colors. now with the launch of CNWB wont there be competition between the two shows.

I am asking this as in the past Kapils shows aired on both days that's Saturdays and Sundays.
