News Cow Vigilantes Kill Man In Karnataka, 18 Arrested

Cow vigilantes have killed a man in Udupi in Karnataka who was transporting cows.

18 people have been arrested for the murder according to the local police.

The victim, Prashant Pooojary, was traveling with a friend identified as Akshay Devadiga when they were attacked by members of a right-wing group named the Hindu Jagrana Vedike. Mr Poojary died of his injuries after the assault.

In india, more than 50 % of the states, there is a rule - if u kill a cow then the punishment could be a death penalty as well.

but till now no one got this death penalty, and india is highest in exporting beef.

so we can understand how tolerant we are.....
