Public broadcaster Doordarshan has said that it would hold the 23rd e-auction on 19 October for vacant slots on its direct-to-home (DTH) free service DD Freedish. The pubcaster has set a reserve price of Rs 3.7 crore (Rs 37 million) per slot for the e-auctions. The e-auction will be conducted by Noida-based C1 India on behalf of Prasar Bharati. The participation amount (EMD) for the e-auction is Rs 1.50 crore (Rs 15 million) which is to be deposited in advance on or before 19 October, latest by 12 pm, along with a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 10,000 in favour of PB (BCI) Doordarshan Commercial Service, New Delhi.
