Debate-Is it possible to use VIDEOCON D2H as FTA channels receiver.

I know D2h boxes are locked but I read an article some guys used D2h setup box as FTA channel receiver. they not only watch Indian FTA channels they also able to see some foreign FTA channels . I talked to a tech guy said D2h firmware can be unlocked. I tried on my videocon d2h HD box but it didn't worked. Tech guy said you need unlock the setup box firmware first but am afraid if i mess with firmware software there might be a big problem? Anyone tried satellite management in d2h?

Go ahead and try bro.... if ur box will get corrupt i will give u my tata sky with 75 HD channels.
