Japan will be telecasting Tokyo Olympics in 8K they have already started NHK 8K feed all European American nation are started adopting 4K and in India we don't have anything in 4K

Ok, let us assume that Indian channels and service providers launch 4K or even 8K. How many subscribers will opt for it? People here are not even ready for HD yet. One needs to check the ground realities as well.

A 24x7 4K channel in broadcasting is not happening anytime soon, especially in India. But digital streaming services are already offering 4K and HDR, and that's the future, digital content consumption on the internet, I believe.

As far as broadcasting is concerned, HD channel is a must. Because people are gradually moving to HD and most of the TVs sold today are at least HD ready if not 4K.
