HELP Does DishTV support 5.1 audio?

Hey guys

Nice forum. This is Vijay from Hyderabad.

I am in the process of completing my dedicated Home theater complete with projector, 5.1 audio and room insulation and ceiling panels. Now there is one more important aspect which I had almost taken for granted.

My question:

1. Does DishTV support 5.1 audio at all?

2. If yes, on what channels and does it support 5.1 over HDMI?

So only for few channels dish tv will give you 5.1 sound.For 5.1 sound you have to choose any other DTH.That is also depending on your requirement.
