EA Access is being rolled out in beta to a small number of Xbox One players starting Tuesday in a test group, but will "soon" be available for anyone with Microsoft's latest generation video game consoles, according to the California-based video game company.
The subscription starts at $4.99 (approximately Rs. 300) or $29.99 (approximately Rs. 1,800) a year on Xbox Live.
The new service tailored exclusively for Xbox One comes in a partnership with Microsoft, which is intent on gaining ground on PlayStation 4 consoles fielded late last year by Japanese rival Sony.
During the EA Access test phase, players will get unlimited access to FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4 with more titles to be added, according to the game maker.
The team has also noted that the EA Access subscriptions will also be available to purchase from local retail stores, GameStop and on Amazon, for Xbox One gamers across Europe, as well as EB Games in Canada.
