Enable recording make HD box 2222 slow ?

I am using HD box 2222..recording not enabled.ave to pay Rs:199 for it..but there is many review that if recording enabled then box go slower or not working properly..so in that case is it better to go for HD recording DVR 1 TB...let me know what is better option?normal HD box with 1 tb HDD or HD dvr 1 TB..cost same...

As per my view DVR with 1TB would be best....i know 2222 and 2011 both STBs having sloppy processor...can't even handle software with recording...activating it is the other thing....so i think it won't record your contents as per your convenience. They will hang between and do lot of crap thing so wasting rs. 30/month on these two box is not worthy.
