People on Twitter are complaining that Facebook has been down for about 10 minutes at the time of writing this article. Many TechCrunch writers could confirm the issue. The mobile app and website are still working though.

Here is Facebook’s official statement.

Earlier today an issue in our service routing layer prevented some users from accessing the site for a brief period of time. We caught the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100%. We apologize for any inconvenience.
