Literally every Studio called one of their work a iconic work. They're historic no doubt about that but any kind of movie can't complete 1000 week without any support.
Even I don't think it could have sustained 1000 weeks without active help from its promoters including SRK....
That means they wanted to show something to sustain the brand.
