The Guwahati-based North east first 24x7 satellite news channel Focus NE was closed down from May 23 after the management had declared the same.
On May 23, the management had informed the employees that the channel would not be on air from the day and five months' salaries will be paid.
However, the employees demanded a formal closure notice and immediate disbursement of ten months' salaries.
"The management after a long negotiation agreed to give foue months' salaries to those over the Rs 25,000 slab and six months' salaries to those under the Rs 25,000 slab," management said.
