Focus TV is likely to shut down their Bangla and Assamese channels indicate industry insiders; however sources also maintain that Focus TV maybe looking to sell these channels, to a national news TV player. There has been no confirmation on this yet.

They have realised that one after the other their channels are been removed so they took this decision of shutting down Bangla and Assamese channels

this decision was taken by FOCUS team last year itself, it seems hence the channels were removed from all the platforms.

But also they will make many jobless.

Good decision by FOCUS,

actually by acquiring NE TV then using it for their own propaganda was stupid and should close the channel from immediate effect.
