The hackers also posted documents alleging to be ID cards of relatives of French soldiers involved in anti-IS operations. A message posted by the hackers on TV5Monde’s Facebook site read, “Soldiers of France, stay away from the Islamic State! You have the chance to save your families, take advantage of it. The CyberCaliphate continues its cyberjihad against the enemies of Islamic State.” They replaced TV5Monde’s social media profile pictures with a masked Islamist fighter. As per reports, the group’s digital director Helene Zemmour called the hack “unprecedented and large-scale.”
