GEC Watch: Star Plus stays on top as Zee TV and Colors lose eyeballs.​

Week 11 (March 10 – 16) of TAM 2013 has not seen any change in the pecking order of the top four Hindi general entertainment channels. According to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus continues to lead the pack followed by Zee TV at No. 2 and Colors at No. 3. Sony has strengthened its position at No. 4 while Life OK and SAB TV jointly hold the No. 5 position.

Star Plus’ weekday shows continued to perform well in Week 11 helping the channel stand tall with a big margin. It clocked 273 GRPs (last week 272).​

Zee TV lost 13 points this week recording 202 GRPs (last week 215).​

Fiction shows failed to shore up Colors in Week 11 as the channel went below the 200-mark after a long gap in recent times. The channel garnered 187 GRPs this week (last week 214).​

Sony Entertainment Television added 8 points to reach 163 GRPs this week (last week 155).​

SAB TV and Life OK shared No. 5 position with 135 GRPs (last week, SAB had 135 GRPs and Life OK had 126 GRPs).​

Star Utsav garnered 50 GRPs (last week 55).​
