Google has introduced the new Save to Drive extension for Google Chrome which enables you to save images off the web to your Google Drive. Once the extension is installed, you can click on the Google Drive extension to save an image of the entire page or the page visible in your screen, the HTML source code and a Web archive (.mht). Right clicking on images or links allow for them to be saved directly to your Google Drive.
Once an element is saved, an option pops up that allows you to open the file, view it in your Google Drive list, rename it, move it to any specific folder, add a description and share it with others.
There are some new techniques to work with images that you have stored in your Google Drive like zooming by scrolling or you can use the new ‘fit to page’ and 100% buttons. You can also leave a comment or description for a particular part of an image by selecting it.
