According to the Gmail official blog the search engine giant has added a series of handy advance search options in Gmail. Now Gmail users will be able to search their mail by size of attachment as well as more flexible date options to help users find what they are looking for faster.
Also to narrow down the search even further, one can use a combination of search options like size:2M, older_than:2days.
Gmail had got a nifty update just a fortnight ago. With the help of this update, users can now compose mails straight from the Inbox. Further, users can check mails as they type, minimise their drafts and also compose two messages simultaneously.
The biggest advantage of this new compose experience is that it helps save time with the new message pane opening up within the Inbox itself like an enlarged chat window. This makes it much easier to scan through older messages without having to save a draft of the current message first. Earlier, you'd first have to save the current email as a draft, open the old message and then again reopen the draft to pick up where you left off.
Google has also been rolling out some interesting search features over the fast few months for its Gmail users. In August Google integrated its search with Gmail that allowed you to search within your emails for any data tied to a search request.
