After giving five years contract to the private firm White House Network, to handle Kasthuri channel, Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has decided to cancel the contract which was signed between the White House Network and the channel. The decision was taken on Saturday after two hours of meeting.
According to sources, "the main reason to cancel the contract is when the channel was transferred to White House Network the television rating points was 78, but now it has plummeted to 38. Even during prime time slots, the advertisement features were shown which led to the decrease in TRP ratings."
