The Haj Committee of India on Wednesday canceled the Haj pilgrimage of the year 2020 due to the Corona crisis. There had been doubt about the journey for the last three months. The state Haj Committee of Madhya Pradesh has confirmed the cancellation of Haj pilgrimage. The flight for the Haj pilgrimage was to begin this month.
Due to the cancellation of Haj pilgrimage, 5 thousand passengers of Madhya Pradesh and one lakh 5 thousand passengers of the country have felt disappointed. In a directive sent to the Haj Committee of the states by the Haj Committee of India, it is said that it is not possible to manage the Haj pilgrimage of the year 2020, so the yatra has been canceled. According to Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee Secretary Dawood Ahmed Khan, Haj applicants should apply for refund of fees on the website of Haj Committee of India, so that the fees deposited can be returned.
