Hathway Cable & Datacom, India’s largest multi-system operator (MSO), has seen a fall in operating profit amid slowdown in digitisation while carriage revenue has increased 9 per cent for fiscal 2015. The payout to television channels has jumped 22.01 per cent and consolidated net loss in the fiscal ended 31 March 2015 has widened. STBs seeded in FY15 Just 0.43 million set-top boxes (STBs) have been deployed in the fiscal, indicating that acceleration in Phase III of digital addressable system (DAS) will happen closer to the deadline of 31 December 2015.
