It better be, considering that about 1/3rd of the list won't be applicable in any other state.

So what do u guys think.. Should I continue with Hathway or move to D2H?

Cost implications also to be considered. I have two TV sets, the second one is an old CRT, so HD not needed on that.

Also, being in Hyd, can I take the regular Platinum HD pack or do I compulsorily need to take the South pack?

Digital cable is cheap and i think the old platinum pack has been discontinued on d2h.

Till you are happy with the quality, stay with Hathway. Their channel addition scope and capacity will always be higher than DTH.
