The Call and data services of Vodafone collapsed across Gujarat on Thursday evening, hours after the rollout of its 4G services in Ahmedabad. While many customers grappled with issues with using Vodafone data services, many reportedly were unable to make or receive calls in the evening. Vodafone staff who handled the customer services department were intimated with an internal communication around 8 pm that the issue will be resolved in half and hour. However, customers reportedly did not get any communication on SMS for the same.

While this issue has happened after the 4G launch in Ahmedabad today, the reasons for the network and data services being down are not related to it as the 4G launch happened only in Ahmedabad,” he said.
