How to add channels from satellite scan?

There is option to edit frequency details in satellite scan. What is the use of it?

Will it catch dd direct+/ c band channels of insat 83 degrees?

No, U cant add any channels in Tatasky STB. The scanning and adding channels r Locked in STB Software.

IN UK, Sky box will add all fta ku-band. They did not lock satellite scan. Is there any chance of getting dd+, if the software is unlocked?

Few years back those were working, i have watched DDD+ Channels in my SD STB. now DTH STB is locked .
