My new videocon d2h stb has SPDIF (CO-Axial) output for Dolby Digital Sound. But my home theater system has only RCA input points.
Any cable or connector available which I can use to connect them both and get Dolby Digital Surround Sound.
I think its not possible to get DD in RCA.AFAIK RCA have Stereo only and its 2:1 . If it can be done then my HT also having RCA input .Waiting for experts comments.
I have tried all possibilities and also searched for the connector / Converter in Pune's Biggest electronic market.
But i didn't found. ..
Optical to RCA are available but Co-Axial to RCA not found in the market.
No you cannot connect since its a digital output & you need a decoder to decode the audio for speakers. You can only connect it to a digital Amplifier like Yamaha, Pioneer amps.
