Idea Cellular Tuesday introduced 'No Bill Shock Combo Plan' for its postpaid subscribers across four service areas, allowing users to cap usage-linked expenses.
Idea Cellular has become the second telecom operator in the country to launch such plan after Bharti Airtel, which had also introduced similar kind of arrangement for its postpaid customers to avoid data bill shock. Bharti Airtel reduced per KB charge for postpaid customers that exceed the usage limit, whereas Idea Cellular has introduced specific postpaid data plans in which data speed will be automatically downgraded once the predefined usage is exhausted.
