India has emerged as the 2nd largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world. In the last 5 years, more than 200 Mobile Phone Manufacturing units have been set up.

Some critics say that it's more of assembling than manufacturing but as per govt ad it says clear cut manufacturing

Factories are working but if mobiles are getting manufacturing from India then why the prices are still high ? We are not sure how much contribution companies are made on Govt. funds.

The reason is mobile companies have decided not to reduce the price and share profit between themselves and govt. May be that could be the agreement for setting up manufacturing unit in india.

If Govt. are getting enough tax then good otherwise the end benefits should pass to citizens.
