BENGALURU: Intex has revealed it’s yet another new budget smartphone for the Indian market. The key highlight of the new Intex Aqua Twist is its 5MP rotating camera at a decent price of

5,199. The 5MP camera comes with LED flash with a twist (manual) mechanism. The camera which is placed on the back side can be flipped in to the front and turned into a front camera. Intex Aqua Twist is powered by MediaTek MT6580 quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP2 GPU. A 5MP camera using OmniVision OV5648 sensor with LED flash is packed on the rear with a rotating mechanism.

This feature can also be seen on the Huawei Honor 7i.

This is a quad core powered handset running on android Lollipop over a 5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The magnificent phone sports a 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB), plus micro SD card support. Twist specs also include a 2200 mAh battery offering up to 18 hours of talk time or 275 hours on standby.


The handset’s connectivity is catered with 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The dual SIM phone has a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 144mm x 72mm x 8.4mm and weighs 175g. Available in two color choices—black and white, the phone also has an attractive patterned design on the reverse. Amazon, Newshunt, Opera Mini, Saavn, and Hike Messenger are some of the pre-loaded apps for the Aqua Twist.
