HELP Ipad 2 or Nexus7

Which one should i choose?
Both the devices come in same price but nexus has wifi + 3G.

My requirements:
Does 3rd party app needed to transfer contents from USB?

i know ipad 2 doesnt have USB port but dock connector is present but
i need to watch movies on tab, so which device is easy to copy from ext hard disk?
Also can external hard disk(1 Tb) be accessed?

1. 3G + wifi is an addition benefit in nexus .
2. 3rd party apps cannot be transferred to your iPad unless its a jail break whereas in nexus it can easily be done.
3. Not sure but a connector with OTG USB Port can make movies play via external drives.

but the screen size is only 7" in nexus.

So, if you are looking for bigger screen, then iPad would be better.

But keep in mind that 90% of things in iPad and tablet require Internet. So keep that factor in mind.

thats no problem, but the thing is i cant access the pen drive directly.

choose nexus 7...great device for gaming purpose...also consider samsung galaxy tab 2 (wifi only) version which is available for rs.8400...not that much powerful when compared with these two,but decent enough for watching movie,surfing net & other stuff

Tab 2 would be too inferior jairaj bro.

And regarding gaming also I think apple products are unbeatable. My quad core S3 have hanged and crashed more than 100 time but ipad not for a single time.

i have chose to go for nexus 7 as it has an app to access USB/portable hard disk via an app.
Nexus has tegra 3 quad processor too.

Good choice as it is economical, thousand of free apps, ease to install app offline, and will come with 3G.

Apple ipad has only wifi in that model and moslty the purchase would be done in 10 to 15 days.
