HELP Is it true that, SD channel quality will improve with Airtel HD box ?

I have recently upgraded CRT TV to Toshiba 32PU200 LED TV (HD Ready)

I am using Airtel SD settop box now.For this TV, SD channels quality is not that good but audio is fine.

Is it true that, SD channel quality will improve if we upgrade to Airtel HD settop box.

Please help me out.

Come on people, shawl_who bro and other ADTV users. I think you guys can confirm this.

yes brother you will get better quality on HD boxes,better got for HD +,but they charge 25 for recording,so think before activation,if you wont recording choose HD box.
For HD ready TV you will get good quality of video and audio.
HD box giving some upgraded 16:9 view for SD channels (not all but important channels).

I will go ahead and upgrade HD plus.
But struggling to get to talk with airtel customercare executive... put on long hold since morning.

go with online or msg (SMS HDPLUS to 54325) by using registered mobile.

SD channels quality is better on HD boxes in comparison with SD box.

Because we use HDMI Cable in HD box and this way quality goes better

Its true that SD channels are better in HD boxes since I use both of them as multi connections.
