Jio to sell JioPhone for Rs 699 as festive offer
Reliance Jio Infocomm has rolled out a special offer for its 4G feature phone - JioPhone - wherein customers can buy the handset for Rs 699 during the festive period between Dussehra to Diwali. This offer is aimed at helping the Mukesh Ambani-promoted telco come closer to its 500 million subscriber target and get more customers move from a 2G platform to 4G.
"During the festive season of Dussehra and Diwali, Jio is making the JioPhone available for a special price of only Rs 699 as against the current price of Rs. 1500. This is a clear saving of over Rs. 800 without any special conditions like having to exchange your old phone," said the telco in a statement on Tuesday.
