Josh Matthews was apparently a byproduct of WWE's recent budget cuts, reports F4WOnline.com. There was no particular incident or wrongdoing that led to his release, but rather Matthews was simply at the bottom of the list of announcers.

It's also said that Matthews' release came as a surprise to many within the company.

They're cutting jobs after a huge loss in the TV rights of America their shares continuing in a down fall after they announces the TV deal with NBC.

Every one in the market was considering that they will get some illustrious deal with other Network and they will not going to return in NBC Network also bid price was huge but other Networks was in no intention to sign TV deal and they forcefully comes to settle deal with NBC their share was fallen drastically after this deal.
