KC Global Media has decided to discontinue the exclusive Animax Taiwan HD feed which was available on MOD Cable operator. With these all operators will now have same Animax Taiwan feed.

Anime is popular in Taiwan after Japan. People are shifting online more.
It seemed inevitable.
Once the regular Animax Taiwan channel transitioned from Standard Definition to High Definition, there was no point in having a redundant Animax Taiwan HD channel with different program scheduling.

So yeah, it seems logical for KC Global Media to shutdown the dedicated channel.........and inform Chunghwa Telecom MOD TV to just utilize the widespread Animax Taiwan HD channel instead.

I suspect that there will be changes to the Apstar 7 uplink before the end of this year.
