News Lava launches A72 and A76 4G smartphones starting at Rs 5,699

Lava mobiles has launched the A72 and A76 budget smartphones in India. In addition to the A72 and A76, the A89 is also going to be launched soon. The A72 costs Rs 6,499, while the A76 is the cheapest of the lot at Rs 5,699 while the A89 is in the middle at Rs 5,999.

The Lava A76 which is the most affordable phone of the lot has a 4.5-inch screen. The A72 and A89 feature a 5-inch screen.

All the three devices are powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The phones come with 8GB of internal storage and run on Android Lollipop 5.1. The A72 and A89 also promise an update to Android Marshmallow, which is currently, the latest version of Android.

The three phones - the A72, A76, and A89 come with 5-megapixel rear cameras. On the front, the A72 has a 5-megapixel camera paired up with an LED flash, while the A89 has a 2-megapixel camera and the A76 has a measly VGA resolution camera.

The A72 has the largest battery of the lot. It has a 2,500mAh battery, while the A89 has a 2,000mAh battery, and the A76 has the smallest one -- a 1,850mAh battery.

Wow, Lava Mobiles has again launched three very affordable smartphone. On paper their price and features seem to be quite impressive. Already A72, and A76 are available in local stores and online sites while A89 will be available in sometime. I wanted to purchase a cheap smartphone for my mom and Lava 89 seems to be fine. I am amazed that it has 4G support, plus 5 MP camera, OS system is Android Lollipop, 1 GB RAM and lots more. I am eagerly waiting for this one to hit the stores at it fits my bill.

Lava has recently launched two spanking new android smartphones and one of them is A72, to tap into the rapidly increasing 4G smartphone market. Now after trying out the phone for about a week I can say for sure that they are quite amazing and especially considering the price. It sports superior features and specs like a superfast processor, Android Lollipop 5.1 (with guaranteed future update to Android Marshmallow) and is aimed at the more budget minded people who want to jump aboard the 4G bandwagon. The good thing with this phone is that its on budget and doesn’t hurt the pocket!
