The government has extended the deadline for filling of the Know Your Customer (KYC) forms by LPG consumers till December 31. In a nationwide exercise to weed out multiple or ghost connections, the government had previously set November 15 as the deadline for customers to submit their duly filed KYC forms with their distributors.
"We have now decided to extend the deadline by a month to December 31," a senior Oil Ministry official said here.
The drive to weed out multiple connections at same address follow the September decision to cap supply of subsidised LPG to six cylinders per household in a year.

I wish they would have 1st taken some measure to sort out real Indian and through Bangladeshi out of this country rather than starting DCT which would directly benefit all such who had been successful to acquire Aadhar Card.
