Mahindra & Mahindra that showcased the Gusto 125 at the Auto Expo 2016, launched it on Thursday in Bengaluru. The Mahindra Gusto 125 is available in two variants - DX and VX - at Rs 50,680 and Rs 53,680 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) respectively. The vehicle will rival products like Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
Available in two dual tone colours - Orange + White and Black + Red, the Mahindra Gusto 125 features a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 8.6bhp at 7000rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm. This makes the 125cc version of the Gusto around .6bhp and 1Nm more powerful than its 110cc sibling. This engine is a bored out version of the Gusto 110s powertrain.
Other than the new colours and body graphics, the Mahindra Gusto 125 looks no different from its 110cc sibling. The features that the 125cc borrows from the Gusto 110 include height adjustable seat, 12-inch tubeless tyres, remote flip key, telescopic suspension with air springs, headlamps with LED elements and few others.
