HELP Manual for DishTV Setup Box and Remote

Could any one share the manual for setup box and remote. I want to know on how to use the features like recording,etc., I am not able to record successfully. When I press the record button, it shows the channel is recording. After 30min if I go to my recording, it didnt show any thing...

When channel is recording then a R icon used to be visible at Central of the right hand screen.

and i guess you cant switch to another channel while recording.

Yeah like a paid recording feature of d2h and ADTV.
