Panels are only made by selective companies like Toshiba Panasonic etc. Most of the electronic components are outsourced and produced by component manufacturers ...most of the brands like Samsung LG Sony are pure assemblers and optimize LED with their own software to give results .... The same is done by MMX the only difference is they do it in India and thus save lots on import cost which are high on finished products .... Thus LG is still cheaper than Sony as they have manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon near Pune same with videocon.... So never benchmark electronics with price tag.... See the performance to believe ....
