HELP moving to airtel hd

i have videocon hd and im thinking of moving to airtel hd. i live in sri lanka.
i just want to know about jio dth . is it satalite or cable(iptv) ?
shal i move to airtel hd or wait on jio dth ?
please share your ideas. thanks
