Same with Star World SD + HD loosing viewership from SD channels.

Does every STAR World viewer subscribed to SWP HD ? If yes then STAR needs to works on RIO channels only.

i guess so, as SWP is giving the latest content compared to star world as it airs the shows six months later or older ones.

If everyone subscribed to SWP HD then FX, STAR World and HD are loss making channels, STAR must think about their future soon just like Fox Crime.

There are platforms that don't carry the SWP..those channels are good for those who missed old shows.

But those platforms are also not having Star World HD.

So it is better to scrap Repeat channels because TV buff wants everything latest and they found ways to get it.

If RIO is working well then there is no meaning to have CPS and Base Pack version too.

My guess is that RIO is not that much successful for Star as expected.....I think MSOs are doing everything to defeat the very purpose of RIO....except Hathway....

Earlier there were only 7 Star channels available after RIO.....Now slowly many channels are opening.....may be Star realized the fate of their channels after Fox Crime debacle & paying cable ops for other channels.....

Star must be having clear idea about SW because of RIO now.....atleast SWP which is purely subscription based....

So what's the success rate of STAR overall if their channels are struggling in RIO then how much the subscription rate of SWP HD then ?
