Sony India launched a spate of professional cameras, video cameras, and compact cameras at the Consumer Electronics Imaging Fair (CEIF) 2013 in New Delhi, India.

The Sony DSC-RX1 is a compact camera but packs a 35mm full-frame sensor and wide aperture F2 fixed-focal lens into a camera body. It is priced at Rs 1,79,990.

The new Alpha 99 is claimed to be the world's first Translucent Mirror camera from Sony to feature a full-frame 35mm image sensor. It features a newly developed full-frame Exmor CMOS sensor with 24.3 effective megapixels. Price - Rs 1,79,990.

The Sony NEX-VG900E, the interchangeable lens Full HD camcorder from Sony, is touted to provide the limitless power of Full-frame imaging with extensive manual controls and 'seesaw' zoom lever (Auto Power Zoom). It has a resolution of 24.3 effective megapixels. It is priced at Rs 1,79,990.

The latest additions to Sony's NEX series are NEX 5R and NEX 6 that provide the imaging power (thanks to APCS size imager, which is the same as in conventional DSLR), shooting responses, handling and operability of a DSLR into an ultra-compact pocket-sized mirror less camera. The NEX-5R costs Rs 39,990.

The large Exmore APS HD CMOS sensor inside the NEX-6 offers 16.1 effective megapixels for true DSLR-quality images and detail-packed Full HD video. The Sony NEX-6 is priced at Rs 49,990.

The NEX-FS700K Full-HD Super Slow Motion 4K-ready camcorder, is the latest in Sony%u2019s line-up of NXCAM interchangeable E-mount camcorders. it is priced at Rs 6,45,000.
