One army jawan has been killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Ladoora village in Rafiabad in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. The firing started at around 7:20 am on Wednesday and is still underway.
Two terrorists are believed to have been engaged in the gunbattle. The terrorists are said to be associated with terror group - Lashkar-e-Islam - the outfit that recently targeted cellphone operators in the valley. The area has been cordoned off.
