News Ortel launches 50 Mbps broadband in Odisha

Taking its cue from the national players, regional MSO Ortel Communications has launched 50 Mbps broadband internet in Odisha. Ortel is using Docsis 3.0 (data-over-cable service interface) technology to offer high-speed internet. While Hathway Cable & Datacom, Den Networks and Siti Cable have introduced Docsis 3.0 in metro cities, Ortel is the first MSO to offer 50 Mbps broadband using the technology in Odisha. Ortel said that it is being initially deployed in the city of Bhubaneswar, followed by other markets.

Yes they never said it's used by customers, they say we have launched 50 mbps speed plan. Speed varies from port to port, so they are safe
