One of Pakistan's largest television network has reported that they have been forced to go off air in many parts of the country. Sources have said that orders have come for the Pak military, "as it flexes its authority over civilian institutions".

Ahsan Iqbal, the Interior Minister of Pak has clarified by saying that government did not order the suspension of the channel. Also, he did not explain why the channel faces a blackout across the country.

The Chief executive of the channel said that they were off-air in 80 percent of the country. However he did not point fingers at anyone, an international media house reported.

The channel was shut down in cantonment areas pan-Pakistan and military-administered residential neighborhoods in the first week of March.
